Happy 4th of July!
I got my Birthday visit from Michelle and the kids. They came over about an hour before Ryan joined in. Once Ryan showed up, Ry, Max, Sue and I headed to the IMAX to watch the Formula 1 movie. It was well done. We all enjoyed the movie, especially on the big screen. After, we dropped Ryan off then headed out for a bite to eat with Max. I still had time to head to Aikido…more later..

Sue made me a great breakfast then we were off to Tahoe. We made it to our secret spot by the lake, very nice, very secluded. We set up the beach chairs, found a little shade under a pine tree and simply chilled for a couple of hours. We headed back to the car and drove along the west side of the lake, connected with hiway 50 and stopped for a banana split in Folsom. Then at home, Sue BBQed a nice steak, corn, and fried potatoes. I managed to complete 75 trips around the sun. I can hardly believe it. Last night after Aikido the group toasted me with a shot of Japanese Whiskey brought from Japan by one of the Aikidokas. I was asked which birthday was the best. My answer, "The next one".....more later..

Spoiler alert for those that haven't watched the F1 race from last weekend!
Not a lot happening around here yesterday. The back is finally doing pretty good, good enough to get back to the gym. Sue chased weeds around the yard, sprayed for aphids. I was busy with a few odds and ends. We did get a chance to watch F1. The Mc Laren team is keeping it exciting as Lando and Oscar duke it out. Norris won which will keep him in the running for the lead trailing by 15 points. Poor Max, didn't even make one lap, getting bumped out by a rookie. Dems da berries. …more later..

R&B came over about ten and we headed up the hill for our annual trip to Tahoe. Jake's by the Lake was our destination. When stepping out of the car you got that great breath of fresh pine trees. We enjoyed a great view of the lake while sitting on the deck. A great way to spend a day…..more later..

The back is better!! Well, not 100%, but close. It is still a little stiff. I survived Aikido last night, so that is something.
Jay and I met for coffee and karate. His pup was in surgery for a foxtail so I headed to his end of town. Surgery went well.

My back seems to be almost back to normal. Maybe Aikido tonight.
Sue and I took dinner by R&B's. Had a good chat with Ry. Beth is out of town.
I was able to crawl around under the table on the MR&TRR. Still working on the down feeds (electric work). I was able to get a couple more terminal blocks placed….more later..
