It is a pretty little bay although it has been too rolly to go exploring so we have stayed aboard. Being about a hundred feet from shore almost all the way around the boat it is like being right there. I happened to look out once and found a coyote walking the shore. We watched in amazement as he/she checked out the shore line and then retired in the shade under a bush. Later she was back checking the shore in another area. Fun to be so close yet so far away. Glad they don't swim.
The bay is pretty. Around the edges are big boulders, like lots of other places, but these have very soft edges, almost puffy looking. I had fun finding shapes in these rocks, like watching the clouds, finding all sorts of things. Sue thought I was being ridiculous. Oh well. We sat on the front of the boat enjoying the bay while eating a concoction Sue had made up, calling it ice cream. She had some yogurt left over and mixed it with chocolate and peanut butter and froze it. We enjoyed our treat while enjoying the sunshine and cool breeze.
Last night's feature stared Dustin Hoffman and Sean Connery and a younger guy, I can't remember his name in Family Business. The kid drops out of school just before completion of his masters degree. He hooks up with Grandpa (Sean) who has a long background as a thief. Dustin gets sucked into a scheme and they pull off a job. The kid gets caught and the whole thing turns into a big mess.
The interesting thing about the plot is why they were stealing the goods…..more later..
