0701, Tue, 061912.     Honeymoon Cove.      It is blustery this morning.  After a nice quiet night the wind has kicked up this morning.  It is a good morning to stay put.

I finished off the scraping of the barnacles yesterday.  With my skin suit on, and a good thing I wore it, I completed the final parts of that chore.  By the time I got out of the water I could feel a little soreness around my neck.  I must have gotten tangled a little with the jelly fish.  I saw one as I worked, about two or three inches long and barely visible.  They don't hurt much, more of a slight itchy/stingy feel that goes away in short order.  Definitely not enough to keep me out of the water.

That pretty much pooped me out for the rest of the day so I did some more catching up on reading.  I am into the first book of the Hunger Games.  A strange premise.  Two names are picked from each district, a boy and a girl.  They are sent off to fight amongst each other until the last one standing, the victor.  Interesting to listen to the comments of people who haven't read the book since our methods aren't that much different.  We have done everything from volunteer enlistment to the lottery and simply picking young people at random.  I haven't decided if I really like the book or not but it has hooked me, hard to put down.

Oasis has come out of hiding.  They are up at the north end of Honeymoon Cove, tucked into one of the anchorages there.  They too are all alone.  People must have moved on.  We were invited over for a game of cards.  Jim and I did real well on the first round but I got really stuck on the second and couldn't get started for the life of me.  If the cards don't come you are simply out of luck.  We suffered a smashing loss as the girls went out before I could even get out of my first hand.  Whew!  Sue pulled a quick one having Jim and I switch seats before the second round.  We were dopes thinking it wouldn't make any difference.  Oh well, live and learn.  We played a round of 3 to 13, similar to 64.  (I like 64 better.)  Then J&J taught us a new one, 9 squared.  It was real easy with little skill and lots of luck as most games are.  It has potential as well.

Back on Neos we moved the movie theater over to the starboard hull.  It is amazing as the nights start to warm up how much heat comes from the two of us sitting around using the computer (another heat source) in a small area.  If we watch our movie in the starboard hull we can then move to the relatively cooler port side for sleeping.  The movie:  actually a TV show, 30 Rock.  I would say it is mediocre.  It has potential but it's hard to pin down.  The acting is a little fakey/over done.  We shall see if we continue.

After movie time it was so nice out we sat on the trampoline as we watched the last of the orange glow settle behind the mountains in the distance, then it was off to bed…..more later..
