I guess we are still getting rested up from our exhausting last few days on the dock. That's OK, its nice to listen to the seagulls squawk at each other in the morning and the sea lion barking from the distant rock. The other night as we were enjoying the movie the wind had died down to almost nothing out of the north, then all of a sudden it decided to give us a gust of about ten knots and switch to the south whipping the boat around like a knot on the end of a rope. We both jumped up and ran out to make sure everything was alright and sure enough, it was. It is nice to be back on the hook in our little bay after such a long absence.
I'm not sure what draws me into playing cards but once again I was slaughtered. Just saving up that good luck. We are into the Sons Of Anarchy and well hooked into the drama there. I don't even know where to start with all that is going on, so I won't.
It was a busy day, lots of little chores got done, we filled our water tank and all is good….more later..
Hey, I almost forgot to mention our first hurricane of the season. It showed up right on the first official day of the season but fizzled out last night. Just adding a little excitement to life in paradise…..
