Yesterday was good weather, well everyday is good weather. We are getting a little cloud cover, all that is left of Hurricane Alvin, our first of the season. The breeze kept most of the bo-bos away but still enough to be pesky outdoors, thank goodness for screens.
I'm almost done with the bottom scraping. One keel left to do and then not to worry for awhile. Due to the cold water I hadn't done the bottom for several months and other than a cluster here and there of barnacles of any size, it wasn't too bad.
I'm not real sure why I play cards. There must be just enough time in a day to forget what it is like to lose, or maybe that silly feeling like this will be the day it all changes, ha. I guess I play for the entertainment.
We tried watching Pi last night but the computer wasn't giving it up so we switched to Banshee. It was sort of funny because all of a sudden it ended. I thought it was a movie, then found out it was a TV series. Kind of interesting but definitely not for the whole family. Somehow an ex-con, just out of prison, ends up in the place of a guy who gets killed, the new Sheriff of town. He doesn't exactly play by the rules….more later..
