0802, Wed, 080713.  Rocklin.

We haven't slowed down at all.  We have been tackling a project at our daughter's house.  Their fireplace is finished off with cultured stone that runs clear to the vaulted ceiling.  I have taken on the task of removing the rock.  It has been a while since I have hung around on a ladder swinging a sledge hammer but I have been able to get most of the stone removed.  I think one more good session and I should have it done.  We were going to head back over today to finish up, but Michelle said they didn't want to fill the garbage can full of concrete so she wants to wait until after Monday pick up.  That works fine for me, I will be able to get rid of some of the stiff muscles by then.

Later in the day we made a run across town to meet with Mark, the guy who sold us the car, to exchange some more paper work, so that should all be in order now and of course there are those runs to the store for this and that.  I found a great work table on sale at Harbor Freight but was amazed when we opened the package that there aren't any directions on how it goes together.  Now come on, how complicated could a bench be, but this has four drawers and lots of little parts.  It looks like it should be a fun project for when things settle down a bit.

Last night's movie was Albert Nobbs.  This is a strange one.  Glen Close does a fantastic job portraying Albert, a woman trying to get along in a man's world.  Bring the Kleenex to this one as it has a fairly sad ending…..more later...
