We have picked out a color for the office building, a light tan color for the trim with a darker brown for the siding with a maroon colored door for an accent.

It was carnival day at Max's school so the whole family headed back to the school in the evening.  Each class had a booth, so armed with a handful of tickets Max and Karissa went booth to booth having fun all around the school yard.  The booths were quite good.  Karissa had a unicorn painted on her cheek.  They were quite the artists starting out with a rubber stamp for an outline and filling in with color.  Pretty good idea there.  Another had a sand painting idea.  Each participant was given a little glass jar and lots of bottles with colored sand.  They could layer the sand in the bottle making great designs.  The cake walk was a hit.  With our little group we almost filled the entire circle of numbers so  it was in our favor to win.  Max took the winning number and got to choose from baked goods that filled the entire stage of the auditorium.  A good choice by him, a plate full of chocolate chip (mini M&Ms) cookies.  The rubber band bracelets are a big hit with the kids these days so Max made one of those as Karissa watched one of the experts put one together for her.  Of course there were bean bag tosses and bowling balls.  The library was selling off books for a quarter and Max got a bull's-eye hitting his principal right in the snozolla with a wet sponge.  We managed to avoid the Win a Goldfish booth and enjoyed the music they played from the center of the activity.  It looked like everyone had a great time, we certainly did….more later..
