Sue and I had gathered some leaves the other day while on our walk. We had quite a variety with all sorts of colors, shapes and sizes. The kiddos came over in the afternoon for their visit and Sue had them select five leaves out of the bunch then she tied the stems together with a wire. With a load of leaf bunches made, she finished up by tying them to a hoop, one of those wooden hoops used for embroidery. It is one of the prettiest wreathes I have ever seen taking very little time to put together. Well worth the effort and the kids had a great time doing it.
We are still looking for a place to live. We went out to tour (inside with our realtor this time) some places yesterday. One had a lot of potential but was bussing with other clients with their realtors. It had a lot of fixing up to do but all within range of doing. The other was in a nicer neighborhood but just a little far out of town. It was in real nice condition but had an odd floor plan. Entering the house you come in by the living room that is one of the smallest I have ever seen. The family room was a good size but they squeezed in a fireplace and a spot to stack the fire wood next to it taking up most of the room. This one is in trouble with their loan so it is more of a challenge as to how it works. I'm not real clear on the whole thing yet so I won't even bother to go into the details…..more later..
