Wow, where does the time go. December already.
After an early morning start at Karate I spent a lot of time looking up new people in my Genealogy program. I got on to a family name of Wallace. It led back into the 1600s and then beyond, back to William Wallace, the king of Scotland, the same guy who is known as Braveheart. Interesting, how over all this time these two enemies, the King of England who ended up capturing, then drawing and quartering Braveheart, and Braveheart himself would one day be related. A little scary really and loads of fun to discover. It leads to studying the history a little closer when you might be related to it. You never know what you have hidden in the past….more later..
