It was a very busy day. The Lloyds converged on the Blooms to watch as the little ones got out of bed and hurried downstairs to see what Santa had left. It was fun to watch as Max sorted out all the presents into separate piles then it was time for him to start. He tore through the wrapping, checking out what the present was, then hurrying along to the next one. Karissa, on the other hand, was very methodical, opening each present one at a time and looking at it, enjoying the moment. After a great visit it was time to head back to our place to prepare for the big Christmas dinner in our small apartment. Sue cooked and cooked while I was in charge of such things as deboning the turkey. All was set in plenty of time to greet guests, enjoy a great gathering and dinner, only to head off into slumberland to finish off a long day….more later..
