The cold weather is here so it was time to see if the thermostat works on the heater. We had tried a few things earlier but to no avail. I finally found a little hidden compartment with a cover that comes off. Inside the cover are the directions on how to run the timer and set the temperature. After running through it all is well. I cooked us out during the night and early morning so now all I have to do is arrive at a comfortable temperature, hurrah!
We looked at a couple of houses yesterday. I mean we actually looked at them with the realtor and all. We really liked one so we put an offer down. Now we wait anxiously. This made it hard to sleep last night. Sue was busy decorating while I was busy with the projects that needed to get done around the place. There are quite a few projects but nothing that would stop us from moving in right away, things like removing the popcorn from the ceiling, new flooring in the family room, and removing the rock around the fireplace. Know anyone with experience in these fields? Ha, I got it licked. So, Sue and I will slog through the day and hopefully get a better night's sleep tonight….more later..
