Michelle had a conference at Max's school to talk with the principal about the GATE program, so Sue and I got to stay with Karissa. She had on a set of fairy wings and was to be known as Tinkerbelle so we flew around the room looking down on the town as Sue brought back her childhood memories of all the Peter Pan songs. Then it was off to the tea party where we enjoyed tea and pizza, a busy time.
After Michelle got home we hung around for a bit to chat then we were off to our chores. We went by the material shop to get Sue signed up on their mailing list then off to the Restore (Habitat for Humanity). They were in the same building but now are housed in the end with a huge space. They have branched out with lots more variety than before with everything from furniture to doors to hardware. We got to visit with our old friend and colleague, Tirsha, who runs the entire show. She has really been able to develop quite a business.
Then it was off to the house to pressure wash the garage floor once more and home for lunch. I finished up the day with a great class at karate while Sue got in a long walk to the store, whew…..more later..
