0711, Fri, 071814. Rocklin, CA.

After a bit of work on the cabinets we headed over to pick up Max, it was his special day. We headed to the movies and saw the second How To Train Your Dragon movie. It was quite well done. The animation was outstanding. The premovie coming attractions look like there are some pretty funny movies coming soon.
After the movies we headed over to the hobbie shop where Max joined seven other kids in a science project/build a boat. They supplied the sardine tin, pipe, candle, and tools to put together a kewl little putt putt boat. The kids learned a little about making steam and how the pressure blew out the back to push the boat leaving a vacuum which sucked more water in. Great little project. Then they got to go out back and try them out in a wading pond. The wind was blowing, otherwise I think they would have really gone pretty good. Some of them actually scooted along, stopped, then scooted along some more. I think Max had a real good time, we certainly did….more later..
