I put together a second door and now have some idea what is needed to start the production line. One door a day just isn't going to get it. We then headed off to ReStore to check out what came in from a hotel. Lots of tables and little couches and stuff, but nothing we needed or could use. We then headed over to Lowe's to check out the table top drill presses. I need something to drill all the holes for the hinges with precision. I did one hinge by hand but the depth, placement, and angle are very important. Small tools are hard to pick out without the chance of hands on info. When they go small they also go cheap, never good in a tool. I finally decided on a Skil and brought it home. After assembly it looks like it will do the job just fine. I was a little unhappy with the threading where the handles screw in and will probably have to get a tap to clean them out but other than that it looks like it will handle the Forstner bit and do a nice precise hole….more later..
