0626, Mon, 080314. Rocklin, CA.
Sue has posted the July blog with pictures….go to lloydjourney-neos.blogspot.com

It was an incredible day. Long but good. We left Rocklin area around ten o'clock. It was Sunday so we thought there would be little traffic, ha. The roads were full, coming to a stop now and then over nothing and then moving on again. When we got to the SF bridge it was a solid stop for about forty minutes. There had been some discussion about when to leave and as it turned out our earlier time worked perfectly. We arrived at two for a two thirty class.
As usual, the people were friendly. I went around introducing myself to the thirty or so people. Of course Mr Sagawa was there making sure that he was known as Jim. He lead us through some slow, almost non existent moves for the first half of the class, totally exhausting. Then we moved on to kata with a big question and answer period after. We thought we were done for the day but not quite yet. We made punches, ten up and ten back as each person down the line got a chance to count out numbers. 600 punches later class came to an end. We showered and then headed to Jim's for dinner, a special invite just for us. It was a great way to slow down after class with lots of questions and a few stories here and there….more later..
