I started the day out with karate. We had a good showing of people at practice and worked the entire class on Jion, my next test kata. This is a very difficult kata and well placed as a required kata for Sandan testing since it has everything required for third level black belt. We broke it down working on sections over and over and then put it together for the entire hour and a half, a great workout.
Back home, we took a day off of cabinet building and did some running around town. We picked out a new design for our silverware at Crate and Barrel and now have, for the first time, a full set of nice dining utensils.
Pooped out from the running around we took it easy in the late afternoon. I have started the latest Outlander book and am catching up on all the characters…..more later..
