The nook is now painted as well as the wall on the garage side of the room. It really gives it a finished look. I was able to dry assemble the double doors for the first time. Although it went slow with lots of little tweaks here and there I managed to get them together for the first time.
The kids came over and painted masks and played on the swing. Michelle gathered them up and headed home but things got mixed up. She had an appointment and Eric was running late. They were back in a few minutes as Michelle dropped them off and Eric was only minutes behind. Too bad for the timing but another nice little visit for us. Nice to be close enough to be able to do such things…..more later..
