0708, Tue, 090914. Rocklin, CA.

It is time to get started on window number two. It is nice to have the first one done to measure from. Sue has ordered glass for it which should be in soon.
Max had a short day at school so we picked him up to spend a special day with him. We went to Woody's for lunch and then headed over to the ice skating rink, but they changed their hours. They wouldn't be open until two. So we headed to the house and played one round of Chicken Foot Dominoes, then back to the ice rink. Max and Sue are still pushing buckets around the ice but have lots of fun doing it. The rink was a bit busier so they were confined to the one end of the ice. We had people practicing figure skating and others hockey so you had to keep an eye out for people traveling the wrong direction. I find the hockey skates a bit unstable but then they weren't designed to go speed skating. I wore myself out then headed straight to karate. Whew, a real work out for an old man…..more later..
