We skipped our practice yesterday since we were manning a booth at the Octoberfest in the park put on by the Auburn Recreation District. There were quite a few people at the fair to see the displays of scarecrows and Fall activities. The pumpkins were huge for the contest with the winner weighing in at over 1400 pounds. Now, that's a lot of pumpkin. Of course, lots of booths but a lot of booths were politicians stumping for their spots come election time. What I did notice was not many craft booths. It looked like the people were having a good time. We spoke to a few people that seemed interested in karate making the day worth time spent…..more later..
