One of my pieces for the double door jamb had warped so I had to make a new one, cut, shape, route the hinge locations and try to make it match the old one.
Karissa had a day off from preschool so she spent the morning with us. So fun to watch her grow up. She was Snow White yesterday but hadn't met the Seven Dwarves yet.
Sue had the guy come cut the trees down in the backyard over the weekend so our neighbor across the street, Ron, came over to haul the big pieces away. He brought along his little side kick, a shih tzu, who was all trimmed and dressed in a nice little Halloween sweater. Ron says the dog is a high maintenance dog. Michelle and the kids came back in the afternoon to finish up the owl pretzel project they started last week. The kids had a good time putting those together. Karissa was into the project more than usual. We finally figured out that it was probably because she could lick the frosting off her fingers as she went. I finished up with a meeting in Auburn to go over the event from the weekend but it was cancelled. Brent showed up, also not getting the cancellation, so the two of us went over our notes. He brought up some things I had missed and visa versa, time well spent….more later..
