0752, Sun, 121414. Rocklin, CA.

Yesterday morning was a bit early. Instead of the regular karate class schedule we were going to have a board meeting. Then Jay called and asked what I thought about doing a little kata before the meeting. This meant getting up at 4:30 to get the day started. Crazy. Jay said it shouldn't matter much, he heard old people don't sleep that much anyhow. Hey! We did plenty of kata then headed off to the meeting.
I guess winter is coming, I can hear the geese honking as I sit here. Must be time to head south, ha.
So, needless to say, I was a bit tired for the day but worked on the valance here and there when the energy moments struck. We had a plan for the afternoon that fell through as we waited for the AT&T guy to switch our modem from one room to the other. We waited until well after dark when the guy showed up, but he was real nice and crawled through the attic finding the wires needed and got us all hooked up.
Sue headed to a cookie exchange with Michelle and brought back news about the other half of the family. We should be getting together next Sunday evening with them.....more later..
