0746, Thu, 121114. Rocklin, CA.

The storm of the century is what they have called it. We shall see. We are getting the wind, and the rain has shown up a bit early. We are all snug in our new house and ready. A new pipe was added to the drain in the backyard to prevent the leaves from clogging it up. The drain worked well in the last rain but it didn't get along with all the leaves. The new pipe has perforations that will let the water enter up the line if the leaves clog at the end. Ducky has already tipped so he will have to ride it out laying down.
I have been working on the vent some more with a little slow going since I am inventing (no pun intended) as I go. Definitely a stay at home day for us.....more later..
