0732, Sun, 011115. Rocklin, CA.

I started the day early with the usual senior karate class up in Auburn. Sue started out her Saturday as usual by cleaning the house. We both get our exercise.
The afternoon was spent with Max and Karissa. We took a long bike ride from the Bloom's, past the Lloyd's, and over to the big park. Max was in his usual form of zipping along as fast as his feet would peddle while Karissa looked as if she were out for a Sunday afternoon cruise. Poor Max was having a hard time. With his head down and racing as fast as possible he got hooked by a chunk of cyclone fencing that was almost invisible, sticking out over the sidewalk. It grabbed his left shirt sleeve and sent him whirling. Good thing for the helmet. He took quite a tumble, scratching an elbow and banging a hip, but he was up quickly, dusted himself off, rolled up the shirt sleeve and powered on down the street. Several blocks later, as he rode through some water at the curb, he hit the brakes as usual, but this time it was slippery. He slid out, laying the bike down and landing in the water. Again he simply got up, dusted himself off, and ignored that his side was all wet, soon to resume his speedy little self, tearing down the sidewalk. All boy!.....more later..
