We did some running around town with a stop at Restore to see what they had in the way of anything that might help us with the van conversion. Nothing much, in fact they were low on inventory. The place was crawling with people. Which brings up another subject, what the heck are we doing out shopping on the busy weekend? So rather than fight the crowds at Home Depot we simply did a walk through looking to see if they had what we needed. Window shopping you might say, just cause we can, ha. Our final two stops were Camping World and West Marine right next to each other. Not a lot at Camping World but fun to look and it might just be our last trip into West Marine for some time. They used to be oriented to sail boats. That changed some time ago more towards fishing boats. Now they have removed all their fishing gear and have kayaks and the like. Guess you have to follow the market.
We finished up with a movie in the evening, American Sniper. This was a tough movie to watch because of the emotions, but a well done movie. There seemed to be a feeling of how this movie promoted war. In my opinion it certainly didn't. In fact just the opposite. Be ready with the Kleenex on this one......more later..
