0736, Wed, 031815. Munjack Cay, Bahamas.

We got a considerable amount done on the project. All the little fussy cuts are done in the kitchen leaving nothing but gluing things down, oh, and a few cuts and figuring out the little face tiles across the front.
Steve, the new neighbor next door insisted we come over and see his project and drink a toast to his departure, so although interesting, we lost a little time there on the project. Then Kevin from Green Turtle came by for a visit so all work was called off as we chatted with him. He caught us up on a lot of the goings on in town. He has been building his place over the last ten years and it sounds like the house is getting near the finishing stages.
In the evening we headed over to Bob and Jane's place. They are building over by the Crescent Bay area and needed some help unloading a boatload of material. They are very much attuned to detail with little paths lined with stone and covered in sand. They have an extensive veggie garden and a bunker that looks like it would withstand a mega hurricane. The post system that is in to support the house looks like they doubled everything, size and distance apart, to support the house.
So the sun comes up and the birds chirp as I sit here writing my blog sipping on my cup of coffee. I won't mention the no see ums, ha.......more later..
