0740, Wed, 042915. Rocklin, CA.

I opened up the garage door to start the day and could see the neighbor across the street had a load of bark in his trailer. Ron is the guy who came running over with gloves in hand when we were in the early stages of kitchen remodel. He quickly introduced himself and helped unload a bunch of plywood. So now it was time to turn it around. He has cut his front lawn in half and putting down more bark in its place trying to help out with the water.
I worked on the little sticks for the shojis and think they are ready for glueing. Of course, whenever you start getting ahead and doing a bunch at a time it doesn't always go the way you expect, so keep those fingers crossed that they fit during assembly.
Sue has been puttering in the backyard trying to catch up with the weeds. The plants are doing good all around except some of the bushes we ripped out with the cherry picker. Maybe they are simply in shock. Do you think??.....more later..
