We tackled the task of installing the new radio in Tess. The old radio slipped out without any problem and hooking up the new radio was quite simple as well. Running wires for new speakers will wait till another day. The radio actually worked but mounting became a problem. I used the Dremel to cut out the old face place then made some little custom brackets to hold the back end of the radio in place but when I went to screw them on, the threads stripped, rats. I might be able to put in a screw one size bigger but that will have to wait for a Home Depot run. So close.....more later..
