My day started out with karate while Sue started hers with the house cleaning. Once home we were off to Ryan and Beth's with tools in hand to work on the new front doors of their house. I was amazed at how well the new doors slipped into place. The hinges matched the old mortises as well as if they were made for each other. Of course we gave them the measurements but with all the possibilities of something being off, even as little as a sixteenth of an inch, they all fit perfectly. They look real nice and work well.
After a quick bite to eat we were off to a Falkenthal gathering. We don't get together very often with that side of the family so it was fun to see everyone. We met at Paul and June's (Paul is Sue's cousin) who now live a stone's throw from our old place in Meadow Vista. Fun for all.
We finished up the day at the Blooms' watching Max and Karissa as Michelle and Eric headed out for an evening at the movies. Max is so grown up. He watches the time and without any prodding simply gets things picked up and heads to bead, such a young man...more later..
