Progress was made on the first cabinet. It was sent to Tess for one last fitting then shipped off to the paint department. The other cabinets will be a bit easier, hopefully that translates to faster, since they don't have to fit floor to ceiling.
We were destined to spend our Fourth watching the show on the TV when we got a call from the Blooms. They were planning a trip to the local fairgrounds to watch the show. We got there in plenty of time to get a good spot and hang out till dark. The show finally started. It was a good show, three finalies, then it was over. I would give it a five out of ten. But then, the real show began. Apparently the first show was a private show not far away. Ours started off with a big bang and was directly overhead. Wow. And talk about a finale. The entire sky was lit with fireworks, no dark left over. What a show. I'd say a good 10. Simply awesome!....more later..
