Sue found Neos the other day. We had some business at West Marine so she picked up the free publication "Latitude 38" while she was in there. We are always looking through the names of who is sailing south in the Baha ha ha but have never found Neos. Finally, she showed up as one of the boats in the Big Puddle Jump, crossing from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to the Nuku Hiva. She is now named Kiapa Nui and must be very fast. We would have been thrilled to get in a hundred miles in a 24 hour period. Kiapa Nui's best was 230 miles reaching speeds of close to 30 knots. With no surprise to us she did rip a sail from grinding the sail so tight but that didn't slow her down. What is known as a 29 to 30 day crossing she made it in just 16 days. Great performance, great to see she is still out there....more later..
