We had a special afternoon with Karissa. We picked her up from school and headed out to the miniature golf course. It was all decorated for Halloween with giant spiders and ghosts of all sorts. Karissa was a real kick. She had her own style of golfing. We gave her a few pointers but her own style still came through. It was hard to reign her in since she wasn't all that bad.
After the golf we headed inside for some fun on the video games where she was able to make plenty of points to end up with a hand full of junk, treasures to her as she picked out each one with plenty of thought.
Then we were off to Black Bear Dinner, her favorite. Sue read the child's menu to her and of course the item that stood out was pancakes with whipped cream and chocolate dots. Included was an ice cream with more whipped cream and sprinkles. Luckily she didn't finish any of it but enjoyed every mouthful
as we dropped her off at home all smiles....more later..
