We were able to get the van in for a regular scheduled oil change. Then the grandkids came over. Sue had them making rain sticks. They started with a long cardboard tube. They first inserted a long foil string, some stuff Sue had left over, then filled with a few beans and rice. Oh, forgot. They cut out circles and tied them over the ends, small detail. After some decorations drawn on the outside they worked quite well making the sound of rain.
Chel and I simply supervised while catching up on the local happenings…..more later..
