We tackled the front yard yesterday. The moles have really had a heyday digging tunnels all over the place. Sue is trying mothballs. As she weeds, she is putting in mothballs as she goes, maybe herding them across the yard as she goes. I was busy with the high stuff. The wisteria had grown up into the oak tree so I had the tall ladder out trying to get most of wisteria out of the oak. It being tamed once again, I trimmed up the grapes. Something is stealing the grapes but the main reason for planting them was for shade, and that is working very good. They have really taken off this year. The rest of the day was spent hiding from the heat. Ryan came by in the late afternoon for a visit then I headed off to a very hot evening at karate. ….more later..
