Coffee and Karate. Jay and I met for a chat on kata. Bassai has a move that has always been a question for me so I came up with some ideas of what our forefathers might have been trying to convey. That led to some other ideas that we tossed around and after some time I think we were able to come up with a likely possibility of the meaning of the move. Next will be to run the idea by Manfred Sensei to see what he thinks. Great progress….more later..
