We had wondered what it would be like around here on the weekend, if it would get busy. It has been sort-a tame. A few jet skis were buzzing around on Friday, Saturday brought a few tour boats (water taxis with covers to keep the locals out of the sun). The taxis swing close to the boat to point out our little yellow ducky off the back. Even the fisherman get a kick out of Lil' Potito. Now that Sunday morning has rolled around, the rich guys with their fancy three story fishing yachts are heading to sea. The other cruisers said it was crazy around here the week before Easter. They must have burnt themselves out.
We got hot in the afternoon and headed over to the pool and found John and Sharon at the bar doing some internet. John has recovered quite well from all the bee stings. He said he was still a bit tired but feeling much better. He was told by Jean (ER nurse in a past life) that after a dose of bee stings like that it might make him allergic to stings in the future, to be very careful. Interesting how the body works. He told of how things started to go black around the edges and then he didn't remember anything. Sharon said he got real glazed and she had to pry his hand off the throttle. It turns out that Elena was along for the trip and she has a big reaction to stings. She lucked out this go around, not getting any stings, since she didn't have her bee sting kit with her. I think I would wear the thing around my neck.
Back to Neos, Jack managed to get rid of the bomb without getting rid of himself, but has worked himself into another real mess. What is he going to do? …..more later..
