0710, Sun, 052211. It was as calm as I had ever seen it in La Paz. We got a great night's sleep. Sue had set the alarm clock so we could get up early enough to get some coffee and breakfast before we had to say our good-byes to Jimbo and take him to shore. In our running back and forth we had found a great little dock alongside the main municipal pier that leads to the center of town. See you later Jimbo, we had a great time!
Back on Neos we gathered the jerry jugs and headed in to the marina for a fill up. One trip would just about fill us up to capacity so we decided that was enough. The guy at the gas dock was kind enough to let us go back to the boat and drop off the fuel and then pay when we came back in saving us a trip across the marina and back. We dropped off the fuel easily with the calm waters and were headed back to town to do a little shopping. We walk to the store and taxi back. I asked Sue if she would have ever thought to walk into town while living in Meadow Vista to do the shopping and she just laughed. Such is life for a cruiser. We got the groceries back to the boat and put away then crashed for the rest of the day.
We did take up the cards in the afternoon and although my game was going pretty good I am still on the losing end, I just don't understand it. In the evening we took in a movie, the feature being our old show Glee. Teachers and students are still at it and we are enjoying every bit……more later..
