We were getting pretty hot so we headed back to Neos for a swim. The water is still cool enough to be refreshing. What a fun little bay this turned out to be. I really thought people would be using it more for a commute as it would make a great hide out at night for a day trip into Loreto and back, but we never saw a soul.
About midday the wind piped up a little so it was time to actually lift the main and do some sailing. We hadn't had the main up in a long time, what fun we had. The wind was blowing a perfect ten to fifteen, seas were almost flat, and we were on a beam reach. This all added up to a really quick run across the channel zipping along at almost eight knots all the way. We didn't even have to worry about other boats, I think we were the only ones out for the day.
We pulled into the Loreto anchorage to join a small fleet of others anchored off the town. We found our spot and the anchor sunk right in. Home once again for our stay.
Playing in the theater was another James Bond, In Her Majesty's Service with James Bond being played by a guy we didn't recognize at all. We did recognize the bad guy as Telly Sevalis. It was good but maybe a little drawn out in parts. They also seemed to use a theme used a lot in the Bond movies, chase scenes on snow skiis. Of course he loses one ski at one point etc, etc…..Still good entertainment…..more later..
