We are getting used to this lazing around all day. I sure am getting a lot of reading done, nothing great, just the usual junk books that we pick up for free at the marina book exchanges. Sue has been busy knitting. She is almost done with an entire sweater, I think it is going to look real sharp.
Alex II hit the road, almost with a mishap. Apparently Kevin started up the boat and didn't realize it was in gear, then headed downstairs to attend to something. The boat was headed right at Rock N Roll where Russ happened to be out on deck. He looked up to see the bow of Alex II coming right at him. Letting out a yell it took a bit for Terry to realize what was going on. She ran to the helm and put the boat in reverse just in time to avoid a collision. This was about the time Sue and I came on deck to wave good-bye. We were a little puzzled why Kevin would swing by RnR to say good-bye with the anchor still down. Kevin called back once out in the mess and said it was great sailing as long as he was headed with the seas.
The card game went on as usual with the four of us. Russ and I were able to take two out of three games. I got stuck on the third game and the girls were able to close out early on me. Oh well, two for three is better than nothin'.
We headed straight to bed after our guests left since we had watched out TV show in the afternoon. What a crazy bunch, all back stabbing each other, playing politics, and oh the lies. I wonder what the Mormon Church thinks of this show?.....more later..
