0737, Sun, 011512.     La Paz.     Once again it is like a mill pond in Bahia De La Paz.  After all the bouncing around yesterday it is back to flat calm.  Perfect timing for our friends on Rock N Roll.  They just picked up some guests that have a tendency to get motion distress.  This should help them ease into it.

In the middle of the choppy seas and bouncing around we had our own guests.  There is a couple that lives here in La Paz that would like to exchange their house for the boat.

We spent the morning readying the boat and just straightening things.  Always good to get stuff put away.

I picked them up at the new docks and shuttled them out to Neos with only minor splashing along the way.  We enjoyed their company, giving them the royal tour of Neos, and they seemed to like the boat.  They are from Germany and moved here about the same time we started cruising.  Ready for another change, they would like to sail Neos to some island near the Mediterranean in Portugal near the Azores.  We had a great chat getting to know them and then headed back into land.  It was a better ride in since it followed the waves rather than bucking them so we made it without getting wet.

Once the guests were gone the computer came out and we checked out some RVs that were mentioned during our conversation.  Westfalia seems to be an after market maker of RVs and are the company that does a lot of the VW vans.  It was interesting to check them out.  We were amazed by the diesel VW busses boasting a 25 to 30 MPG, but they are quite small.

It was time for the movies so we retired to more Californication….more later..
