I tried some of my putty mix to fill the cracks on the table. Mixing the light colored putty with some dark brown (burnt sienna) oil paint I got the resulting color I was after. For some reason it seemed real dry so I got out our linseed oil and added a few drops of that. It worked well where there were deep enough cracks to hold but the shallower cracks wouldn't hold the putty. I think I will check it out today one more time and then it will be back to putting a layer of varnish on, this time diluted to run like water, ha.
Sue has found out where we go for the senior health insurance so that will be taken care of this next week. The office is right here on the malecon. Then we will be lining up a bottom paint haul out as well. She also contacted
The rest of the day was taken up with various things as usual, adjusting the boom so it doesn't shadow the solar panels, laundry, the usual stuff, then of course some reading. I am letting Ben rest for a little bit while the dust settles from the revolution and have picked up my robot book again studying diodes, transistors, and the likes.
Card time rolled around and once again Scott joined the group for another couple rounds of Baja Rummy. I did so miserable the first round that it felt like the second was going the same. Then by some quirk of fate, I WON! Crazy.
Movie time and more Weeds. They are heavy into the dealing scene once again and just got trounced by the competition. Such is life ..more later..
