We finally found our wood putty. Well, not exactly what we wanted. It is known as resanador in these parts and cannot be found at the local equal to Home Depot (Los Arcos). We dropped in the paint store and found they had some cans of different colored putty. They had a range from beige to very light brown, ha. I told Sue that I don't think they finish anything to a point that they need putty. I want a dark color so Sue came up with the idea of using shoe polish to darken the stuff, so next trip to town we will be looking for some Shinola.
We dropped by the Chedraui grocery for a couple of items and ended up with a couple of bagfuls. The grocery stores are now in competition since the opening of the Mega a couple of blocks down the main street from Chedraui. Ched is now giving away bright orange recyclable bags for your groceries. As we were walking back to the marina we saw three little trucks with big signs on the back for Mega with music blaring and we also noticed the cardboard sign in the front window of the bus telling the destination has been changed out for a nicely made sign with Mega's name in full view. Competition is always a good thing.
Somewhere during our travels we slipped by the club house at the marina. They have a coffee time every morning so I thought it was time we meet some people. We found Russ and Janet but didn't meet too many people. We did pick up a nice new Mexican flag for Neos though. They seem to beat themselves to dust in the wind, time for a new one.
We finished up the day with RNR, the guys were nothing short of HOT. We took the first round so strongly the gals forfeited. We started anew and once again took the first round in similar manner. It wasn't to last long, the ladies made a good win in the third game then us guys won the forth. Not bad, not bad at all.
We finished up Californication. It was a sad ending with the guys never really pulling out of their slump more later..
