I had a great day yesterday. I not only did my good deed, helping out the local guy get his dead battery going, but I was able to enjoy the dolphins swimming past the back steps and even saw a couple of turtles bobbing their heads up from the kelp bed floating in our bay. To top it off, my favorite race, Formula 1 of Monaco followed by that old favorite of Memorial Day, the Indy 500. After all these years, with all the different combinations, they finally got the cars to a point that passing was at its top. This year broke all records for lead changes making for some incredible maneuvers. Usually there are a few favored cars but this time there were a good twenty cars out of thirty three that had a good chance of winning the race. The top five cars finished within two seconds of each other, wow. The podium was filled with some the old guys that I used to watch race back when I was a dirt dweller. That made it fun. What a day of racing.
The wind waited until the races were over to pipe up as predicted. It piped up a bit more than predicted but still was not bad as all of our neighbors peeled off one by one for other places. Neos stood fast as the winds came and was quite comfortable all day. I did have to get up in the middle of the night as the winds died and the boat got sideways to the waves. We got lazy and didn't store the hanging chairs or bring the boom back to center so things started to roll around. It didn't take long to get everything back in place and tightened down. It was fun to see the fish swimming, leaving their streaks of phosphorescence in the black water, oh, and all those stars.
I was still on a roll with cards with a win at Baja Rummy. Then later, I played Majhong Titans on the computer and got the first four groups on the first try and getting all six before I was done. Look out, the kid is hot. We watched the Sons of Anarchy as they got further into the drug trafficking. Now they are getting drive by shootings from the rival cartels of
