After shopping we headed out to Neos for lunch but along the way we found a taxi and arranged for a meeting at the docks after lunch. We enjoyed our meal and then headed back into town. Katie and I were carrying her heavy bag by a couple of handles, double teaming it. We spotted the taxi and headed in that direction. Now let me set up the picture. The area is in the middle of a major work over. There are lots of areas with new concrete and others waiting. I stepped across an area and caught the toe of my flip flop on a wire. Down I went, fairly graceful, with a great karate roll. It made for a great show in the middle of all the people milling around the marina but other than a couple of scrapes on the elbows I was unscathed. Oh, but am I ever stiff this morning. We hugged, said our good-byes, and Katie was off, the end of a great visit.
By the time we got back to Neos the wind had picked up enough to make it questionable to leave our boat alone while we went shopping. If the wind shifted it could really get rough, so plans changed. We raised the anchor and headed back to Isla Coronados. With just the jib out we had a great sail back and will do our shopping another day.
We got in a game of 64 and then headed down to the cinema. Sons of Anarchy is still playing. It looks like the club is going to implode with members now shooting each other, tight bunch
..more later..
