0652, Thu, 062112.     Honeymoon Cove.     We had decided to move over to a new spot we hadn't been, Isla Monserat.  Once we got home from the card game with Oasis we packed up the boat to go.  Of course this means bringing Ducky in as well as taking down the new shade covers.  Well, it was a good thing we did those chores before bed time.  It blew like stink all night long.  The wind would come in big gusts from zero to twenty five in a wall of wind.  That would last for about a minute until the next wall came through.  We heard a noise at one point that sounded like we hit something.  Never did find out what it was but we weren't anywhere near something hittable.  It may have been the kayak tied up front on the trampoline.  At some point Sue got up and removed the sliding glass window over the helm so it would blow away.  When I woke this morning, or should I say when I got out of bed, the wind still blowing, I checked things out.  The couple of hats I keep around the helm were scattered on the floor, the kayak was blown off to the side and the bridle had come undone.  I turned on the windlass and rehooked the bridle, put everything back where it belongs and all is well now, just a bit tired.  We are going to move across the channel today to Juncalito hoping for better protection there.  Monserat will just have to wait for another day.

Sue has made up a honey-do list and I got started on that.  Kept me busy for the morning.  We had our card game over on Oasis and once again the guys squeezed by for a win.  We are on a roll!  Movie time consisted of a few more episodes of 30 Rock.  It had a few funny lines but I think we will be letting the other episodes rest for now.  We watched an interesting "TED Talk" on Bioluminescence.  We now have the official name for those sparkles we see in the water at night.  Not many animals use bioluminescence on land but lots of fish critters seem to use this stuff.  They have all sorts of awesome displays as well as little spots like flash lights while some of them even squirt the stuff.  Interesting……more later..
