Wednesday, 4th of July

0716, Wed, 070412.     Bahia Marquer.     Happy 4th.     Our winds finally calmed last night.  It has been blowing in the low teens for the past few days and now has subsided to a gentle whisper.  Only problem now are the rollers coming in.  They are about a foot or more and get the boat rocking pretty good at times.  I can't imagine what it would be like on a monohull.

Things are going on as usual.  I am now knee deep into the first Wilbur Smith book.  Good reading, hard to put down.  We went for a dip yesterday and the water is still on the cool side.  Nice and refreshing, whew.  The card game was the usual ho-hum.  I won again.  Movie time, Fireproof.  It seemed to be another religious movie.  Where are all these coming from all of a sudden.  We had seen it before but for some reason, last night it quit half way through.  Skip it if you get the chance.  Beginner actors.  We switched over to several TED Talks.  I was surprised to see that they have actually attained Fusion in the laboratory.  Now that is awesome.  It looks like we won't have it up and running as a power source until the 2030s though.  For those that aren't familiar with it.  This would be a source of power without the use of any fossil fuels and no by product pollutants.  That would be too good to be true…..more later..
