Gotta love this weather, it is absolutely perfect., right temperature, right breeze, really nice.
We got out the old side dodgers for the boat to see if they would fit to the new front dodger that Sue has just finished. It looks like, with a little adjustment, that they will work out just fine. I put the finishing touches to the new dodger, a few grommets across the bottom where some toggle snaps hold the dodger in place. They really brought the project together nicely. Sue is such a seamstress, this was a tough project to fit.
We headed over for good conversation with Russ and Janet along with a lousy card game, then in the evening Doc and DD came over for some more conversation as we went to the little street vendor, a couple of blocks up from the marina, for dinner. The lady sets up her wagon across her driveway and the locals come swarming in. There are three things on the menu, hot dog, hamburger, or burro (burrito is a small burro). You can switch things up with what goes on them, throw in a coke, and it all comes to ten bucks for the two of us. I ate mine and was quite comfortable but Sue couldn't finish hers so I had another half a burro to stuff myself.
Back on Rock N Roll we were treated to a chocolate/caramel dessert topped with a brownie, now if that isn't decadence, and more conversation. Doc and DD gave us some pointers as well as some hilarious stories of their adventures RVing. They had a VW bus that caught on fire outside
We finally headed back to Neos around ten o'clock, later than we have stayed out in a long time. The water was very nice to us on our ride home with stars shining brightly. We said good night to Orion (the constellation overhead) and headed inside for one episode of Pillars then off to la la land
..more later..
