Sue has been working hard trying to arrange to get our anchor chain regalvanized. It has been a real challenge with the shipping company. The guy there speaks ok English but true to the nature of the Mexicans, he never wants to tell you that you don't make sense. He finally insisted on seeing the container the chain will be put into so we met him at the office of the marina. Things got mixed up and it took all morning for him to find the correct marina but it finally worked out and after some time of explaining that was the container but no, the chain was not in there yet, we got the idea across, I think. Then there was the problem of where to pick the chain up, not this marina, we will be in another marina. Sue finally walked the guy over to the other marina and showed him the layout. Not bad for a morning's work.
Lunch was late but heck, it was Sue's delicious lasagna, well worth waiting for. We made water in the afternoon then played some dominoes after. What a great game. While we were at the marina we ran into some other cruisers who heard we were in need of some card players, so we might be hooking up with them when we get back from our next trip to the States.
The movie was good last night, a story of an autistic girl who became quite successful,
