This is our last day on the hook, not that it makes much difference.
We were enjoying a nice relaxed chat on the back deck without a breeze and calm water when all that changed yesterday afternoon. It came like a wall of wind, all of a sudden we had ten to twelve knots, and all the boats were dancing. It kept up most of the night and even now we have a low breeze, but not with the dance.
Not much going on around Neos, I thought it strange though. We have these little books in the bathroom for entertainment, you know the ones with crossword puzzles, Sudoku, and the Find a Word puzzles. The word finders all have a theme and I thought it interesting that one of the themes was sailing. Well, Sue found the word Neos mixed into this page. I'm sure this means something, ha.
We have a DVD that was taken by a realtor back in the old days when we lived on land. He had a company come in and do pictures of the Meadow Vista house with 360 degree views throughout the house and around the property. When we tried to view it we got nothing. Last trip home we tried a guy in town but he too was unable to get anything saying there was no info on it. Apparently these things deteriorate with heat. Funny, our movies still work. Anyhow, Sue found a spot on the internet, How to fix your DVD. I got out the materials, rubbing compound, and worked the shiny side of the DVD over a bunch of times. We still don't have all the info but we have gotten to a point where we can get one still picture. Progress.
The evening movie was Towers Heist. It was pretty good, lots of familiar faces. A little different twist to an old theme, check it out…..more later..
