0707, Sun, 040713.  La Paz.

 

We have finally caught up with the US.  It is now daylight savings time here in Baja California.  Of course some nutty neighbor had to get on the radio at O Dark Thirty to ask what time it was.  Thanks loads for the wake up call.  Some don't realize, just because they have a radio doesn't mean they have to use it.

Long walk day, this time our goal was to find the pottery shop.  They make a lot of the bright colored pottery you come to know as Mexican Pottery.  The shop is located clear across town but we stuck it out and got our exercise for the day.  Good thing, we stopped on the way back at the ice cream shop and got a banana split to split between the two of us.  We were a little disappointed with the shop although it was fun to watch the old guy working on a machine that rounded out the inside of a bowl.  Also a highlight of the shop was a tiny little German Shepherd pup that was busy tripping over his own feet, too cute.

So it was a busy day, a bit on the warm side but really nice along the shady side of the street.  The card game, enough said about that. 

There is to be another swap meet today so we got all of our junk ready next to Rock N Roll.  One more chance at bringing in all that dough. 

We have had winds all night, Coromuels they are called, lets hope they slow down a little for the swap meet.  Oh the movie last night, once again we watched Sherlock Holmes.  I think even better the second time when you have some idea where the story line is leading and much easier to pick up more of the lines, they seem to go by rather quickly the first go through…..more later..
