0643, Wed, 040313.  La Paz.

It was a busy day yesterday.  Russ and Janet have been going through their boat, weeding out what goes home with them (very little) and what stays, the rest has to go somewhere.  We on Neos have been the lucky recipients of lots of food and gasoline so we thought it only right to treat them to a day on the town.  It turned out to be a perfect day, not too hot, not too windy.  We started out with lunch at the palapa restaurant and oooooooo what delicious shrimp tacos.  They were really, really good.  Russ and I had a plate of three tacos overflowing with shrimp, and a beer while the girls split a plate, total lunch with tip less than thirty bucks.  Big spenders, heh?  From there we headed to the movies and saw a great action film, Parker.  Then we went for a walk across town and ended up at another little restaurant, El Rincon, for dinner.  What a fun day.

Back on the boat we turned on a movie, not that we had enough already, but it was a dud, Project X.  Something about a bunch of kids in high school having a party while Mom and Dad were out of town.  Like that was a real new concept but the kids were full of foul language and degradation.  So, enough of that.  We switched over to a Bruce Willis flick and enjoyed some more shoot em ups with Red…..more later..
